Medical interventions that save lives; giving Josephine hope for healing and walking again

Josephine, 13 years old, has been suffering excruciating pain from a big open wound on her thigh for over a year and a half. URF intervened to enable Josephine to receive proper testing, ongoing treatment, and a wheelchair for mobility.  Fortunately, the wound is not cancerous.

Initial surgery was done to clean out dead tissues, and now the focus is on treating the wound. However, there is a consistent drainage which the doctors have not yet figured out the cause, but the wound continues to heal slowly.

The family is very grateful for the new wheelchairs donated by URF friends and the ongoing financial support to cater for medical bills. Josephine father passed away recently during her hospitalization which was another painful experience for this young girl.

Please continue to keep Josephine in your prayers.
