Building Hope Junior School, Building hopes for children

At the end of 2017 we embarked on an adventure of building first class school for underprivileged children, the Hope Junior School, and by the end of 2018 three blocks have been erected. These include:

  • Block A: The eight classrooms for elementary sections
  • Block B: Library, main hall, and girls’ dormitory
  • Block C: Three kindergarten classrooms, offices, and a computer lab

Block B and C are yet to be roofed. The major work remaining to complete all three blocks include: plastering walls, concrete floors, installing windows and doors, and painting.

Block D which comprise of the Boys’ dormitory is erected yet. We are still looking for funds to commence so we can start this remaining portion of our new campus.

At the moment the children are studying in what was formerly chicken coops. They are very excited about the new permanent classrooms which will look way nicer than what they have now.

It is amazing that the children have also been part of the construction project. They have helped during after school hours with moving bricks and other tasks at the construction site.
