A mother’s love in life’s toughest moments

Lilian’s babies, Catherine and Caroline, visited their mom at the hospital to have a moment with her. It was an emotional visit as Lilian was unable to talk to them but could only hold hands.

For the past several years, Lilian has been battling skin cancer which became aggressive through a huge tumor on her neck. The Uganda Cancer Institute managed the cancer with radiation but could not suppress it. It reached a point when the Doctors said that there is not much they can do for Lilian.

At the moment, Lilian is on pain management and comfort care. There are some days she is able to say a few words but she is becoming weaker and weaker by the day.

We are grateful to generous friends who have stepped forward to stand with Lilian through this difficult journey. The children are provided for regardless of Lilian’s condition. The family has a new house and is fully furnished. At least the girls will have a place to call permanent home.

Please continue to keep Lilian in your prayers.
