A blessing of a meal to families in need

During the Covid19 lockdown in Uganda both in 2020 and 2021, many families became vulnerable and at risk for hunger. With no work, families have no income to support their children in providing basics such as food, soap, and clothing.

With the closure of schools, teachers for private schools have suffered the most. Schools couldn’t continue paying teachers. So many teachers are feeling hopeless and abandoned.

We are grateful to friends who have generously contributed to an emergency food relief drive which has benefited more 500 families since last year.

Our simple food packages for families include posho (corn floor), beans, rice, cooking oil, salt, and soap. Families are very grateful for this kind gesture.
