Kids with their treated mosquito nets

Malaria is one of the major killer diseases in Uganda and Africa in general. At URF we have set out to address this problem. This program involves distribution of mosquito nets to the most needy children and their families. Over 1,000 treated mosquito nets have been distributed to children and poor people in the villages.

Thanks to  EWB-UMN and the Pilgrim church in Duxbury in MA for making the project possible

One mosquito net costs $7 in Uganda. Consider a gift of net to a child or pregnant mother.

If you would like to save a live, please donate $7 or more. Contact John Mary at jmlugemwa@ugandaruralfund.org  for more details.
