Hope Integrated Academy

URF has partnered with Engineers without Boarders of Minnesota to design and implement a clean water supply system and sanitation system for the Hope Academy in Masaka. The system will involve rain water harvesting during the first phase and later a bore hole. The system will be implemented in the summer of 2008. Thanks to EWB team and the supporters of this project for their generousity.

Local Community Residents

A volunteer, Bridget Sangster, from Canada has made the initiative to bring clean water to residents of the Kyetume village. After observing how women and  children struggle to carry jericans of dirty water from the ponds, she decided to speak with her parents back in Canada about the situation. Her parents have taken the initiative to raise funds for rain water harvesting tanks for the people of Kyetume, Masaka, Uganda.

Several generous donors from British Columbia, Canada below contributed toward the purchasing of the water tank for the volunteer home stay family in Kyetume. Thank you so much. Your gifts make a huge difference in the lives of many people here.
