Family Twinning and Sponsorship Program

This page features several families that are facing difficulties meeting their basic needs such as: school fees for children, clothing, clean water, basic household supplies, etc. These families include those headed by widows or grandmonthers taking care of orphans. Some are child-headed families where children have assumed the role of parent and child. If you feel touched by their stories, please consider praying for these families or support them in any way you can. 

You may choose to make a one time gift to the family and there is no obligation to continue providing for the family. Alternatively,  you may offer to sponsor the family on an ongoing basis. You may also want to pick out one child to sponsor and cater for that child's educational needs.  If you want to send a package to a family, please let us know. There are many ways you can support a family in need.  However small your gift is, it can make an imaginable difference in the life of an individual or the entire family. We can also put directly in touch with the family you wish to sponsor.

Your family may also decide to develop a long-term relationship with a needy family in Uganda. Through this twinning relationship, the two families can share the love, joys, and sorrows experienced in their daily lives. This is an opportunity to engage in solidarity with families in another culture to share the riches of cultural diversity. You and your children will have the opportunity to correspond with children of the Ugandan family. We will provide you with contact information and pictures. Your  family and the recieving family decide where your gift can be best used. This way, your gift can make a direct impact on concrete individual and family unit.
