Nominate ‘Chickens for Chickens’ to Make a Positive Impact in the World!

Chickens for Chickens will provide rural Africans with the resources to sustain chicken farms for food and income. Each farmer will receive startup materials, and will be supplemented with innovative agricultural and business practices. In the United
 States, local food markets will have opportunities to contribute portions of their chicken sales to sustain the growth of this project. As Americans buy chicken, they will help buy chickens for African farmers. This project will provide resources to help rural Africans enrich and sustain their communities. The sale of one chicken ($1.50) per week can increase a family’s income by more than 25%. Investing in rural communities with startup materials, innovative agricultural research, and entrepreneurial training will empower farmers to develop their local economy and infrastructure. This project will help preserve rural communities, which represents 80% of Africa’s economy.
