Living Conditions How well are you prepared to adapt to rough rural living conditions in Africa? No showers, no running water, no flashing toilets, electricity is sporadic — conditions are not like your home. Examine your readiness to live a very simple life. The family can only provide local foods; they have no idea what you eat back home; so please refrain from making unreasonable complints and demands. What they put on table is what's locally available. Please be culturally sensitive and open to learning new things.
